AIA LECTURE Sunday, April 3, 3:00 p.m. The talk, "Copying and Imagining: Francesco di Giorgio's Drawings of Ancient Roman Buildings" will be given by Richard Betts from the School of Architecture, UIUC. EXHIBITIONS CLOSE SOON Sunday, April 3, 5:00 p.m. OVER + OVER: PASSION FOR PROCESS and APOCALYPSE THEN: IMAGES OF DESTRUCTION, PROPHECY, AND JUDGMENT FROM DÆRER TO THE TWENTIETH CENTURY will be on view through April 3. COLLECTION IN CONTEXT LECTURE SERIES Monday, April 4, 12:00 p.m. "Max Beckmann," a talk by Marcel Franciscono The 2004 - 2005 lectures survey the work of some of the major creators of the modern movement in painting and sculpture with an emphasis on the expressive character and meaning of the artists' work and on their individual contributions to the art of their century. IPRH FILM SERIES Wednesday, April 6, 5:30 p.m. "Harold and Maude," a 1971 film directed by Hal Ashby, will be shown in the auditorium. IDSA MIDWEST CONFERENCE Friday, April 8 through Saturday, April 9 "IMPACT: The Synergy of Design, Business and Technology" is the IDSA Midwest Conference hosted by Industrial Design, School of Art + Design, UIUC and held on the Urbana-Champaign campus. There is a conference registration and fee required to attend the events including "Design Impact," a talk by Karim Rashid on Friday.
