“Holiday Winds at Parkland” concert Dec. 15
The Parkland Wind Ensemble and the Parkland Community Concert Band will perform holiday music to lift the spirit on Thursday, December 15. “Holiday Winds at Parkland” takes place at 7 p.m. in the Parkland Theatre. The event is free and open to the public.
Among the Wind Ensemble’s selections is an arrangement of music from Handel’s “Messiah” and “Sussex Mummers’ Christmas Carol” by Percy Granger. The band will perform a variety of holiday songs including a trumpet trio performing “Bugler’s Holiday” by Leroy Anderson. Audience members may also enjoy small-ensemble entertainment in the lobby before the concert, starting at 6:30 p.m.
