The collection is now available to ALL residential properties within the City
limits. Materials must be placed in 30 gallon paper yard waste bags, and plastic bags are not allowed. Twigs and branches may be bundled with non-metallic twine or placed in paper yard waste bags. Branches cannot be larger than two inches in diameter and 3 and ½ feet long, and bundles cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter. If you have

This event takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2003 from 8am to 3pm at the City of Champaign Public Works
Center located at 702 Edgebrook Drive in Champaign (east of Super K Mart.) If you have questions, call 403-4770.
Acceptable wastes include, oil-based paints, paint thinners, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, gasoline, pool chemicals,
cleaning products, mercury, thermostats, household batteries, used motor oil, drain cleaners, lawn chemicals, solvents,
antifreeze, hobby chemicals, aerosol paints and pesticides, fluorescent lamp bulbs, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, and
automotive batteries.
Unacceptable wastes include, LATEX PAINT, agricultural, medical, and commercial wastes, explosives, fireworks, smoke detectors, and electronics
